Card making club A weekly club for keen greeting card makers who want to meet with others of similar interests, to share ideas and techniques. New members are always welcome. All materials are provided. Mondays 1:00 - 3:00pm during school terms. $5 per week. Tech Support Needing some help with your computer, laptop or phone? We have some computer technicians who know what they are talking about and want to assist the community. Monday morning between 9am and 12pm. Grab a cuppa whilst you wait. This service is free, but donations are much appreciated. Scrabble Come along and play scrabble with a friendly group. Exercise your brain and have fun. Tuesday mornings at 9:45am-12pm. Gold coin donation. Women’s social walking group Enjoy a range of walks around the local area and stay afterwards to savour good company and a cuppa at Sundbye House. Wear appropriate shoes and clothing suitable for weather conditions. Meet at the Hub, 94 Farrington Avenue, every Tuesday at 9:30am (summer) / 10:00am (winter). $25 subscription per year. POND - Parents with Neuro-diverse Children Are you one of the special few to be raising a neuro-diverse child ? We have a friendly support group for parents, to chat with each other about: having similar challenges, celebrating wins, sharing ideas and finding tools and resources that work. Meets every Tuesday at 10.00am during term time. Rummikub group Come along and learn to play this easy to learn, fast moving game, which has elements of the card game rummy and mahjong. Mahjong A friendly group for people wanting to play Mahjong, the ancient Chinese game with bamboo, circles, characters, winds and dragons; pungs, kongs and chows. Bring your own craftwork. This group is supported by an experienced tutor. Wednesdays 1:00pm - 3:00pm. Gold coin donation. 500 card group Come along and play 500 with a friendly bunch. Come and build some confidence in cooking some basic meals using everyday ingredients - cost effective, adaptable to likes/dislikes, seasonal, nutritional and fun. Block of four sessions. Contact us for the next available course. Minecraft Community A safe online community for young people to play Minecraft together through a monitored server. Young people will need to register and will be expected to follow specific rules to ensure that we know who is part of the online community and that it is a safe place for everyone.
